Rancho Mirage Writer's Festival - Feb 1-3

The 2023 Rancho Mirage Writer's Festival is an exciting event for book lovers and aspiring writers alike! This year's festival features a lineup of some of the most well-known and acclaimed authors in the world, including Fran Lebowitz, Maureen Dowd, Susan Choi, and Dave Barry. The festival offers the opportunity to attend readings, panel discussions, and workshops led by literary giants. Taste of Jalisco - Feb 3-5

The 7th annual Taste of Jalisco is a 3-day food festival celebrating Mexican cuisine and showcasing the best dishes from the state of Jalisco, home of tequila and mariachi music. With live music, dancing, and plenty of great food and drink, this is a perfect event for foodies and culture buffs alike.

Modernism Week - Feb 16-26

One of the signature events in Palm Springs, Modernism Week showcases the work of iconic architects including Richard Neutra, Albert Frey, William Krisel, and Donald Wexler. A variety of events provide a unique opportunity to explore residential and commercial properties, enjoy lectures and tours, and attend parties and events that celebrate the era. Modernism Week also highlights the contributions of interior designers, landscape architects, and graphic designers who created the look and feel of mid-century modern design.

Olive Crest Invitational Golf Tournament - Feb 6

This one-day golf tournament is a must-attend for anyone who loves the sport. With a challenging course at the Classic Club in Palm Desert, top-notch players, and great prizes, this is an event that's not to be missed for golfers of all skill levels. Event proceeds benefit Olive Crest, an organization dedicated to child abuse prevention.

Dr. George Charity Car Show - Feb 11

This annual event showcases a wide variety of classic and modern vehicles at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. This year's show features over 200 cars ranging from vintage muscle cars, to high-end sports cars, and everything in between. You’ll be able to admire the cars up close and talk with the owners. The show also includes live music, food vendors, and family-friendly activities. All proceeds from the event go towards supporting the local community and various charities.

Riverside County Fair - Feb 17-26

This annual event that brings together the community to enjoy food, rides, games, and live entertainment. You’ll enjoy delicious food, ride thrilling carnival rides, and play games for a chance to win prizes. The fair also features livestock competitions, agricultural exhibits, and a petting zoo. Desert WineFest - Feb 25-26
