The BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells is one of the largest professional tennis tournaments in the world, attracting over 400,000 tennis fans from around the world. Crowd favorite Raphael Nadal and last years mens winner Taylor Fritz are expected to return, as is defending women’s champ Iga Swiatek.

Fashion Week El Paseo - March 17-23

 

Fashion Week El Paseo is a week-long celebration of fashion and design, featuring runway shows, cocktail receptions, trunk shows, and celebrity meet-and-greets, Popular designer Michael Costello will be presenting his latest designs, as will award-winning designer Josie Natori and Nikki Yassemi Wirthensohn.

AmDocs Film Festival - March 30 - April 3

 

The American Documentary and Animated Film Festival (AmDocs), a world-renowned event that showcases inspiring and thought-provoking documentary films, returns as an in-person event for the first time since 2019. The festival features documentaries and animated films from around the world, and kicks off with an opening night gala on March 30.

Glow in the Park - March 17 - April 30

 

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens hosts the annual "Glow in the Park" event, a magical nighttime experience featuring hand-crafted lanterns and over 5,000 twinkling lights illuminating the zoo's pathways, botanical gardens, and animal exhibits. Guests can enjoy interactive exhibits, live music, and food and beverage vendors. The event is family-friendly and tickets must be purchased in advance. It's a unique opportunity to see the zoo's animals and exhibits in a new light, creating a memorable experience for all ages.

The Palm Desert Food and Wine festival is a culinary extravaganza that brings together food and wine lovers from across the region. The festival features wine tastings, cooking demonstrations from the nation’s top chefs, and a variety of gourmet dishes from local chefs. You won’t want to miss the James Beard Gourmet Four-Course Luncheon with wine pairings for each course.

Palm Springs Chalk Art Festival - March 18-19

 

The 11th annual Palm Springs Chalk Art Festival is a vibrant event that brings together talented artists from around the country to create stunning works of art in chalk on the streets of Palm Springs. The two-day event features artists, vendors, music, a kid’s zone, and other activities for the entire family. Judging takes place at 4pm on Sunday March 19.

Palm Springs International LGBT Hockey Tournament - March 23-26

 

The Palm Springs International LGBT Hockey Tournament, presented by the Coachella Valley Firebirds, will take place at Acrisure Arena and will feature ten teams from across North America. The tournament is open to all advocates and supporters of the LGBT community. The tournament will also have social events every day, and a grand closing party with dinner included.
